Careers
Astronika has a comprehensive analytical base for the design, simulation and analysis of space mechanisms, as well as seamless access to technical expertise and resources for manufacturing, integration and testing.
Astronika’s activities range from mission definition support, through prototyping, to testing, qualification and final integration of flight systems. With a team of experienced engineers and scientists, we utilize our own laboratory facilities along with in-house manufacturing facilities that offer extensive capabilities for precision and quality production of parts. Astronika is an ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 certified space mechanism developer.

Astronika’s manufacturing workshop was established in 2018, in response to an internal need for timely production of precise components for space mechanisms. Thanks to the long experience of our employees in the production of complex and high-quality components, both for internal project needs and for our customers in the space industry, we are able to offer our services to a wider market.

Our manufacturing capabilities:

  • Main materials machined: Aluminium, Titanium, Stainless steel, Copper alloys, POM, PEEK, Vespel,
  • Milling – working area [mm]: 762 x 406 x 508, accuracy [mm]: 0.02,
  • Turning – working area [mm]: Ø386 x 515, accuracy [mm]: 0.002,
  • Quality control measurements (CMM) – working area [mm]: 700 x 1000 x 600, accuracy [mm]: 0.001.

All finished parts pass through the hands of our in-house watchmaker, who gives them a final polish, checks that no sharp edges remain and removes any burrs. The laser marking machine allows us to engrave the parts we produce to facilitate tracking and identification of components.

An extensive network of sub-contractors specialising in conventional machining, WEDM, heat treatment and surface finishing allows us to take a comprehensive approach to even the most complex projects.

We welcome collaboration and invite you to reach out with any inquiries. Please contact us at manufacturing@astronika.pl or via the form in the Contact tab.

Inspection & control can be done with the use of basic in-house facilities or within the framework of collaboration with our trustworthy and experienced partners. At our disposal we have numerous small measuring equipment (i.a., high-resolution scales, callipers, micrometres) as well as optical microscopes and elaborate coordinate-measuring machines at the Warsaw University of Technology.

ASTRONIKA Sp. z o.o. has a dedicated laboratory for the assembly and integration of space mechanisms, equipped with the necessary instrumentation like laminar flow cabin and ESD stands.  AIT equipment includes video microscopes for precision integration and documentation of micro-sized assemblies, weighs and and hand tools.

Astronika cooperates with many test laboratories. We have access to highly specialized and exclusive test equipment designated for space mechanism testing: ISO 7 Cleanrooms, Thermal-Vacuum Chambers, Climate Chambers and shakers. Astronika also is capable of performing electrical and functional tests in-house.
